Mr. Richetti focuses his practice on intellectual property disputes, including patents, unfair competition, and misappropriation of trade secrets. He has litigated more than 50 IP cases representing clients in district courts throughout the United States, as well as at the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit. A significant portion of his practice is also devoted to representing clients in a variety of post grant procedures at the United States Patent and Trademark Office, including Inter Partes Review proceedings and ex parte reexaminations. Mr. Richetti also assists clients with licensing, right-to-use and infringement studies, validity and enforceability review, due diligence for the purchase or sale of intellectual property assets, and management and development of patent portfolios.
Mr. Richetti is also an Adjunct Professor of Patent Law and Patent Litigation at Hofstra Law School and publishes regularly on intellectual property.
