Baseball Field Directions

DIRECTIONS TO THE FIELD IN FARMINGVILLE:

We have worked with Google to iron out the completely wrong directions (or was it the people whose driveway everyone kept landing in?) to the field and it now works when you input the address. We even tried it on our phones. But just in case, see below:

Take the Long Island Expressway (either East or West, depending on where you are coming from) to exit 63, North Ocean Ave. You will want to take N. Ocean, North. The field is at Bald Hill so travel north on North Ocean for about a mile or so. You will cross over Horseblock then Granny Rd. At Granny Road, please move over to the right hand lane because the off ramp to the field will be a couple hundred yards up. Take the off ramp to the right. Make a left at the bottom of the ramp. Your first (legal) left is going to take you to the field. Follow the League of YES signs up to the right and get ready to have a great, great season of League of YES baseball. Check your map before you leave the house.

DIRECTIONS TO THE FIELD IN EAST MEADOW

If you know anything about Eisenhower Park, you know it will be super easy to find our field. We are at the Stewart and Merrick Ave. entrance to the park. For those of you that are not familiar with Eisenhower Park, please follow these simple (hopefully) directions and get ready to have a blast:

From the North Shore:

Take the Northern State Parkway, either east or west depending on where you are starting from and take it to the Meadowbrook Parkway, Exit 31A. Take the Meadowbrook south (the only possible direction) to Exit M3W, Merchants Concourse. At the end of the off ramp, make sure you are in the left fork to turn right. When you turn onto Merchants Concourse, stay in one of the two left hand lanes. They will let you make a left onto Stewart Ave. Stewart Ave is no more than 100 yards after your turn onto Merchants Concourse. At the signal, make a left onto Stewart Ave. Follow Stewart Ave. straight into Eisenhower Park and make your first right. Make an immediate left, then a right into the parking lot.

From the South Shore:

Take the Southern State Parkway, either east or west depending on where you are starting from and take it to the Meadowbrook Parkway, Exit 22N. Take the Meadowbrook north (the only possible direction) to Exit M4. Instead of exiting onto Hempstead Turnpike (Rte. 24), continue straight, following the signs to Eisenhower Park. The off ramp will put you on Stewart Ave. heading straight to the park. Follow Stewart Ave. straight into Eisenhower Park and make your first right. Make an immediate left, then a right into the parking lot.

From Anywhere Else:

Via Old Country Road – Take Old Country Road to Merrick Ave. in Westbury and go south. Follow Merrick Ave to the intersection of Stewart and Merrick and make a left into the entrance to Eisenhower Park. Make your first right then make an immediate left, then a right into the parking lot.

Via Hempstead Turnpike – Take Hempstead Turnpike to Merrick Ave. in East Meadow and go north. Follow Merrick Ave to the intersection of Stewart and Merrick and make a right into the entrance to Eisenhower Park. Make your first right then make an immediate left, then a right into the parking lot.

Via The Southern State Parkway – See the instructions for “From the South Shore”.

Via The Northern State Parkway – See the instructions for “From the North Shore”.

Via the LIE – Take the LIE to the Northern State Parkway and follow the “From the North Shore” directions.
